(1) The

(2) The scope of work includes:
1.

for all floors for the Chancery building & apartments

for the Residential apartments
4.
Light
fixtures for the Chancery, auditorium and residential apartments and fixing
them through specialized agencies
5.
Light
fixtures for external works and landscaping areas and fixing them through
specialized agencies
6.
Specialised panelling with wood on
certain floors in the Chancery
7.
Certain
area of false ceiling in the residential apartment and chancery
8.
Auditorium
equipment for projection facilities and stage lighting
9.
Decorative
work of embossing on glass with symbol of Indian Government
10.
Curtains
and roller blinds from
11.
Large
photographic panels
12.
The
interior contractors would have to produce walk through animation
13.
Signage
14.
Exhaust
fans for kitchens and bathrooms of
apartments
15.
Specialised equipment such as micro wave oven, fridge, freezer,
cooking range, vacuum cleaners, heavy duty grass mowers and flag pole
(3) Contractors/firms who
fulfill the following requirements shall be eligible to apply:
a)
The
contractors should have adequate experience in the above works and should have
successfully completed at least 3 such works not less than 0.4 million US
dollars or completed two similar works costing not less than 0.6 million US
dollars or one similar work costing not less than 0.8 million US dollars during
the last 5 years ending 31.08.2008.
They should have an English speaking manager.
b)
Should have had average annual financial turnover of US$0.5 million on
interior works during the last 3 years ending 31st March 2008.
c) Should have a solvency of US $0.4 million certified
by their bankers.
d) should not have incurred
any loss in more than two years during the
last 5 years
ending 31st March 2008
d) should have worked for Embassies in
(4) Desirous
contractors/firms shall submit their applications duly supported by documents
regarding their eligibility in sealed envelope which will be received up to
3.00 p.m. till the period of 15 days from the date of publication of the
advertisement in the office of Head of Chancery, Embassy of India, 1, Ritan Dong Lu,
(5) If
any information furnished by the applicant is found incorrect at a later stage,
he shall be liable to be debarred from tendering / taking up of work with
Government of India. The Ministry
reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant
independently.
(6) Indian
contractors will have to produce a valid Income Tax Clearance Certificate along
with the application for tender.
The selected contractors have to obtain valid registration from the
concerned authorities as required to work at
(7) The
Embassy reserve the right to reject any prospective application without
assigning any reason and to restrict the list of pre-qualified contractors to
any number deemed suitable by it, if too many applications are received
satisfying the basic pre-qualification criteria.
(8) Pre-qualification
application shall be for the entire scope of work. Partial and incomplete applications are
liable to be rejected.
(9) The
language for completing the application and for the accompaniment is
English. All communication should
be in English, and typewritten.
