In case of death of an Indian national, the individual’s family members, friends or employer, may inform the Consular section of the Indian Embassy.
For obtaining a certificate from the Embassy and registering the death of the individual at the Embassy, the following documents are required.

Death certificate from the concerned hospital/authorities
• Passport of the deceased – original and a copy
• Fee: RMB 170.00
