Business Visas may be granted to those who wish to visit India for the purpose of trade, short-term project work and business related activities.
Following categories of Business visas are issued:
(A) Six months Multiple Entry Business Visa: may be issued on the basis of a letter of invitation from a “Recognized Indian Organization" i.e. from recognized Chambers of Commerce or industry associations or other trade bodies, public sector undertakings, government-approved joint ventures, liaison offices or private sector companies who are members of a recognized chamber of commerce or industry association or other trade body, along with a copy of the Certificate of Incorporation of the Indian Company or Pan Card in the name of company or small scale registration certificate or shops and establishment certificate issued by the local State Government and a Guarantee letter from the Chinese company.
(B) 2 months Single Entry Business Visa: may be issued on production of a letter of request from a “duly authorized Chinese organization" i.e. from Ministries and Commissions of the State Council, the Governments of all Provinces, Autonomous Regions and Municipalities directly under the Central Government, Foreign Offices and Bureaus of Economy and Commerce there under, Departments and Units recognized by the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and CCPIT along with a copy of the Certificate of Incorporation of the Indian Company or Pan Card in the name of the company or small scale registration certificate or shops and establishment certificate issued by the local State Government and a Guarantee letter from the Chinese company.
Note: Passport of the applicant should be valid for a minimum of six months.
